好多人都說在加拿大考車牌比在香港考更容易學和合格, 客觀來看, 加拿大路闊, 燈位少, 車少人少, 停車場空間廣闊, 對於一個零駕駛經驗的人來說確實比較容易學習駕駛。
So many people say that it is easier to get a driver’s license in Canada than in Hong Kong. This is because the wide roads, reduce traffic lights interaction, few people on the street and a large parking lot. It is easier for beginners to learn to drive.
在加拿大的交通網絡比較簡單, 路標都比較易明簡單, 雖然車速都相對快, 但道路闊而直, 車也不會太擁擠。泊車的地方也很寛闊。

初到加拿大, 如果完全沒有駕駛經驗和車牌的新人, 是需要先考筆試, 內容分兩部份:交通法例和交通標誌, 一共40條選擇題, 錯多過4條便不合格了, 需要重考。每日只可以考一次, 不合格的話, 可以明天再考過。其實只要事前看看駕駛指南, 相信不困難。而且現在的筆還有中文和英文的選擇, 每次考試大約加幣25元吧。
If you are coming to Canada for the first time, there is no driving experience, you should go to the license registration center for road signs and 40 multiple choice questions to test learners rules. If you have more than 4 errors, the test fails, then try another day. Unless you learn road signs and rules, it may be easy to pass the test. There are Chinese and English versions test which cost about CAD25.
幸運成功合格通過考試後，您將獲得7級學習者許可證；在1年內，您可以參加學習路面駕駛課程, 找教車師傅學車了。一年後，方可以申請考核5級許可證。
After passing the exam, you will receive a Level 7 learner license; within 1 year, you can participate to learn in the study road driving courses. A year later, you can apply for a Level 5 license.
如果本身有車牌的朋友, 初到加拿大都是需要報考筆試, 收到合格通知後就可以報考Class 5的路試了。當考到加拿大的車牌後, 加拿大政府需要你將自己本國的車牌剪掉放棄。
If you have a driver’s license in your country, you must still take a Class 7 learner written test. After receiving the qualification confirmation, you can apply for the Class 5 road test immediately, without waiting for one year. However, when you get a Class 5 driver’s license, you must give up your country’s driver’s license.
